Making Space

Do you need to make space for your practice?

I can't help but realize something about my spiritual practice. I've missed a chunk of entries for #dropm78. While I don't feel bad—I don't self-impose guilt much, I recognize that my spiritual health and awareness doesn't happen on its own. I have to create and make space for it.

I was under the weather for a few days, coupled with some after-hours work in October, and before I knew it, nearly two weeks had passed. I know how much of my practice is intentional and how much of it is passive. I would like to move the dial a bit more toward the passive side.

What about your relationship with your practice? How do you create space for it; do you intentionally set aside time, or do you experience your practice in the normal ebbs and flows of your life?
